Product Details

Comfrey is also known as knitbone and is a member of the Borage family.

It is well known for helping to heal wounds, sprains and broken bones. It also helps to diminish or remove scars when used topically.

Comfrey may also support the healing of:
  • headaches
  • eczema
  • whooping cough
  • tuberculosis
  • dry cough
  • burns (applied topically)
  • lower back pain

NOTE: Due to the presence of a toxic alkaloid, which can harm the liver when taken in large doses, use this tincture externally, unless you have done your research on comfrey and know the dosage for internal use. I use the leaf from the plant, which has 10 times less of this alkaloid then the root.

Comes in a 1 oz bottle come with a dropper.

I use the folk method for making all my tinctures, which uses no measurements except sizing things up with your eyes. So I put the plant material in a jar and then fill with alcohol.
